Dream'On Linus
A downloadable game for Windows
This game is a passion project I started when my first child was born — something like a gift that can last through time.
Following that premise, the game had to be designed for a new player without sacrificing its quality. Drawing inspiration from the design philosophy of Masahiro Sakurai, I set out to create a game that’s accessible to anyone — welcoming and friendly to new players.
The game uses a simplified control scheme, relying only on the mouse and its two buttons to control everything.
Additionally, the game avoids using text and instead relies entirely on visual cues to guide the player, encouraging exploration across its different worlds.
The game also avoids “punishing” the player. There is no death or game over. While it does feature a health point system, it is designed primarily to motivate players to avoid taking damage rather than to penalize them.
this demo is about 30% of the full game idea.
I’m trying to reach $100 to publish it on Steam. Any support will be greatly appreciated.
any feedback is appreciated too.
